Intelligent asset management systems

deister’s smart electronic locker systems allow you to securely manage, monitor and audit the use of your shared portable equipment.

It‘s often all too easy to lose track of who has what item, when it was last used and especially the condition that it was returned in. Our intelligent electronic locker systems protect your essential assets by allowing you to control individual access rights whilst creating a fully auditable record of the electronic lockers usage.

Users identify themselves at the electronic locker using a card, PIN or biometrics which will only allow them to only open compartments with items that they have been authorised to use. This helps protect your company’s shared portable equipment by creating accountability. With our asset management lockers, you could improve your assets availability and life-span by creating a reservation system, releasing equipment based on longest charged or incorporating fault logging. With customisable reports and alerts, your radios, test equipment, tools, laptops and so much more can be easily managed from any location using our web-based software.

Why deister smart storage

Manage access to your assets

Protect your assets by controlling who can access which item and when. Our system automatically documents all locker activity to provide customisable reports.

Improve operational efficiency

Ensure assets are used equally for maximum efficiency. Our locker system can issue items on rotation to ensure that all assets are regularly charged and used.

Optional article surveillance

For additional security, our lockers can include article surveillance to log the physical removal and return of high-value assets.

Can include integrated charging

Ensure that your asset is ready for the next shift. By integrating charging in our lockers, alongside charging assets when stored, you can view the status of charges on the terminal and even issue assets based on length of charging time.

Use on a local or global scale

Our software is web-based so it supports administration across multiple locations. This means you are easily able to centrally monitor systems in different locations.

Remains operational

Our electronic lockers can be mechanically overridden for quick emergency access. They also contain an integrated emergency battery and local data storage point to allow for continued operation in cases of power or network failure.

Choosing a locker

The electronic locker you choose is central to creating the right smart storage solution for you. If you’re uncertain of which locker best suits your needs, contact us and we will work with you to find the right system for you.

The locker series

The locker cabinet’s sleek column design allows you to combine multiple lockers with different compartment sizes to create your own bespoke electronic locker system.

Our locker series allows you to create your own tailored system. With a range of compartment sizes, you can combine different individual lockers to create one synchronized system. With our asset management system, you can control and monitor access to all the lockers within the one software.

The locker series offers additional features including integrated charging, which can be used to allocate items based on charge levels. The locker series can also include article surveillance which logs the individual items removal, return and presence within the compartment.

The flexx series

With different sizes of cabinets the flexx series offers space for diverse storage options not only for keys but also for the management of radio handsets with the possibility to safely store and manage both keys and radios in the same cabinet.

With the option of an integrated battery charging station along with a charge status display, devices can be issued on a rotational basis, so that only fully charged items are issued.  Flexx cabinets are available in a range of sizes with the choice of either a solid steel or a window door. Cabinets can be installed side-by-side where more storage space is required.

Our easy to use software platform Commander allows easy administration of your smart storage system as well as the ability to control a range of deister products which can combine to give a complete and connected solution.

Capable of working as a stand-alone system connected direct to your cabinet or it can easily scale up to a corporate setup and will work exactly the same on a physical server or a virtual environment.

An easy to use interface and the ability to customise your own reports as well as configure triggers for notifications and alarms gives you a flexible working solution.

RFID article surveillance

For high-value assets, ensure they are kept secure.

Article surveillance confirms your assets are located within their locker compartment, for total peace of mind. Using our contactless RFID technology, you can attach a sticker or transponder to your assets, which will allow the system will register the removal, return and presence of your asset with ease. This is all logged within the Commander software, providing you with auditable reports of the compartment’s opening and closing as well as the physical removal and return of your asset.

  • No battery required
  • Contactless RFID technology
